Cookbook corner

I was asked recently to select my favourite cookbooks, so here they are. Some are bright and shiny new, others preloved, and many have been waiting patiently on my bookshelf (or rather bookshelves) for decades.

I selected these books to cover the range of dishes I love to cook, but also because they have a history, some dating back to the last century and others to as recently as last week.
